Twilight’s Call is an exploration of a Pierrot ensemble from a textural standpoint. Each instrument is given its own time to shine, with constantly changing, non-repeating permutations of pitches to create a haze over the entire piece.

Mercurial, ephemeral patterns. The juxtaposition of light and dark. Primes overlapping in interval stacks and repetitions. Climbing to reach the surface, breaking water for a moment, and being pulled back down into the murky depths. Rotations and cycles on graphs. A descent into night.
